
Orna Svetlana Rosenfeld BArch (Hons) MAPRaT (Chevening) PhD Candidate (2011) is an internationally
experienced urban strategist specialising in spatial and economic development and research.
Currently with University of Westminster in London, she is conducting PhD research management of
residential resettlement within the Housing Market Renewal, one of the most controversial urban
regeneration policies in the United Kingdom.
Architect and Urban Strategist by training, Orna gained her experience designing and managing large
scale redevelopment projects in varied and politically complex surroundings in Balkans and Middle East.
Orna holds a successful record working with culturally and internationally diverse teams, client and user
groups including: professional consultants, local government agencies, neighborhood and community
groups, fund raising and non-profit organizations.
Her community focused approach to spatial and economic development yielded work that she presented
at the World Bank (1999), Capitol Hill (2001), World Congress of Architecture (2005) and 21st Century
Trust (2008) among other Places.
